Who: Asmodeus and Astrid
What: something something arrow puns
When: Week 10, early Friday morning
[ Whenever Astrid goes to sleep that night, she'll find herself in a radically different environment. A rocky cliffside off the edge of a mountain, with bare, dying trees and flora scattered about. A fierce wind blows unrelentingly; she'll have to concentrate to not get knocked over.
Standing about 10 feet away is some douchebag dressed in red and pink with a bow and arrow in his hands. He could legitimately not look more ridiculous. ]

astrid's just going to fucking jump off the cliff now and trust stormfly will be able to deal with the winds to catch her because she feels better on dragonback
THIS GUY SEEMS SHADY ]

[ He draws a single arrow out and shoots it at Astrid. Although it likely misses due to Stormfly moving around, it keeps homing in on her like a particularly annoying bug. ]

When the arrow does home in on her, the dragon will likely try to take the blow instead, but presumably fails? ]

Oho, very close!
[ But he's definitely not aiming for Stormfly. He fires off a few more shots, all of them swerving around any dragon-based defenses as if these arrows have a mind of their own, though if the angle is too tight it may end up blocking it after all. ]

But Stormfly can't dodge the attacks forever, especially not when they keep moving. Astrid flips her axe into her hands, trying to cut them down in the air. Do they keep moving even when sliced in two? ]

The bad news is that this guy seems to have both endless arrows and endless patience, even if it means just barely dodging a wave of fire and emerging partially burned.
He keeps firing, and keeps firing. She'll have to get tired eventually, he figures. ]

It probably takes a pretty long time for Astrid to get tired, since she's trained as a warrior from birth, but eventually she will make a mistake. It's probably safe to say that Stormfly will not be leaving Astrid's body alone for the rest of the game whenever she goes down though... ]
